Real Madrid believe they've lost out
to Manchester United in the race to
sign Nicolas Otamendi, according to
reports.
The Valencia centre-back was seen by
Real Madrid as a replacement for
Sergio Ramos, who has also been
linked with Manchester United.
However, they have no pulled out of a
deal for the defender as they
understand that United have a deal in
place for the Argentine.
Real Madrid will now turn their
attentions to fellow Argentine
Ezequiel Garay as Rafa Benitez looks
to address his team's defensive
issues.
Is Nicolas Otamendi a good signing
for Manchester United? Comment
